Nature of our service
We provide medical travel coordination: hospital recommendation, appointment assistance, airport transfer, hospital escort and medical interpretation. We are not a hospital, clinic, medical group or healthcare provider. We do not practise medicine, diagnose, treat or prescribe.
Clinical decisions
All diagnoses, treatment plans and prescribing decisions are made independently by licensed physicians at the treating hospital. We make no promise regarding any clinical outcome.
Cost information
All figures on this site are indicative ranges compiled from public price lists and patient-reported invoices. They are not quotations. Actual costs are determined by the hospital's itemised bill.
Patient stories
Stories reflect individual, self-reported experiences. They are labelled as self-reported, are not a guarantee of outcome, and should not be read as medical evidence.
Visas and law
Visa policy is set by the authorities and changes frequently. We do not provide visa services. Always confirm current requirements with your nearest Chinese embassy or visa application centre.
Emergencies
In a medical emergency call 120 (ambulance) in China immediately, then contact your coordinator. Do not rely on this website or email in an emergency.
Third-party hospitals
Partner hospitals are independent legal entities. MedTour China works with them under a service coordination arrangement, is not responsible for their clinical conduct, and they are not responsible for our coordination services.
