About medical travel to China

Do I need to speak Chinese?

No. All packages include interpretation. Your coordinator and hospital interpreter handle registration, consultation, payment and discharge. Written materials are translated into English.

Which hospitals do you work with?

We work with Grade 3A (三级甲等) public hospitals in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Tianjin and Chongqing. We recommend based on your specialty rather than a fixed list — you can request a specific hospital.

How do I get a visa?

We provide an appointment confirmation and invitation letter that supports a medical visa (M visa) application. Visa policy changes frequently — always confirm requirements with your nearest Chinese embassy or visa centre. We do not provide visa services.

How do I pay?

Package fees are paid online by card before travel. Hospital fees are paid directly at the hospital by card, cash or international transfer — we do not hold your medical payments.

Is medical treatment in China safe?

Our partner hospitals are the same institutions that treat Chinese patients, including complex oncology, cardiac and orthopaedic cases at high volume. That said, outcomes vary by individual. We recommend a second opinion at home before committing to any treatment abroad.

What if I need follow-up after I return home?

You receive a translated discharge summary and imaging report to give your local doctor. Your coordinator remains reachable by WeChat or email for 30 days after discharge.

Can a family member come with me?

Yes. Additional travellers are welcome. Interpretation for family members during consultations is included in the Day Visit and 3-Day packs.

Do you handle emergencies?

We are a coordination service, not a medical or emergency provider. In a medical emergency call 120 (ambulance) in China immediately, then contact your coordinator.
